Its time for an Early Halloween over at the Haunted Design House (actually it's always Halloween over at HDH) but we are having a 'Halloween In Your Face' Challenge and we are lucky enough to have Lily of The Octopode Factory sponsoring us for this challenge and we have been using her Gloomsvile images, these are perfect for any little Halloween project you may have in mind, tis the season and all that ;)
I used the Devil image and created another Journal page for my Dyan Reaveley journal.
The back ground was sprayed with Dylusion sprays, lemon and lime and left to dry. I used some Tim Holtz stamps as well, You can just see a ghost image of one of the stamps that was stamped in pale ochre archival ink.The other image from the same set, One of his classic sets, was stamped with black archival randomly across the page, I left the top corner clear so I could stamp some of the Lyrics from the classic Rolling Stones song, Sympathy For The Devil. I used the October Crow alphabet stamp set from De Stempelwinkel.
The edge of the page was distressed with Tim Holtz's Festive Berries distress ink and blended into the centre of the page. The whole back ground was then spritzed and flicked with water to give the water damaged look.
Lily's Devil has been coloured with Copics, Fussy cut and clear embossed twice before being glued in place.
As always head on over to The Haunted Design House to see what else the DT have created, and Of course we want to see you get your creep on and join in as well, you have two weeks to join in the fun and next Monday there will be more inspiration from our DT.
Thanks for stopping by. xx
I love how the little devil stands so proudly off the page. Tim's Classic stamp looks wonderful as a backdrop too. Anne x
