ReplyDeleteHi Mark
ReplyDeleteJust snooped round you blog, I especially love the way you use GorJuss girls in such a funky way (so to speak). I'll be stalking you - but don't worry, am probably old enough to be your Granny :) If you ever want to join in the fun using your snippets, hop over to my snippets playground - so far it's all girls and we'd love a chap to fuss over.
Thanks for calling by on WOYWW :) Di x
Hi Mark! What a great workbench. It reminds me of what my dad had out in the garage when I was growing up. I used to climb up on his stool and take his tools off the pegboards!
ReplyDeleteI looked back at your post from last WOYWW and your ATCs look great. I'm looking forward to the swap also.
Happy WOYWW

You will get addicted to this, it's so much fun! Barb #116
ReplyDeleteHi Mark, Di again. Blogger commenting is playing up, not your fault, it's an ongoing problem :( But, it means that it looks as if I've added a reply to Babs' comment above - it's the only way sometimes to leave a comment :(
DeleteOK, snippets - they are another way of describing 'scraps' ie. leftover bits of paper and card - we always seem to collect loads of those. It's used loosely in the snippets playground challenge, where folk just link in whatever they've made and a snippet can be almost any sort of leftover piece of craft stuff.
I just spotted you 'paper piecing, a Gorjuss Girl image in a previous post - that's a great way to use 'snippets' and one of my favourite techniques. We do get a few people playing along who are into distressing and more grungy styles too.
This is the latest challenge, no theme and few rules - but it's a good way to widen your network of crafting contacts and often it's a bit of a laugh. http://pixiescraftyworkshop.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/pixies-crafty-snippets-challenge-19.html
Have a nice day! Di
Great work space! Take care and enjoy WOYWW snooping! Zo xx 73
