woyww 155

Hello, its that time of the week again, yep a WOYWW Im sure you all know what that is but if you don't, follow the link to Julia Dunnit's Stamping Ground.
So my workbench as of late last night, lots of stuff out as I have been playing with a few different things, you can just see what I have been making for the Simon says stamp and show and if I'm lucky I might be able to enter it into the Craft Barn challenge as well.
Hope you are all having a great week, I will try and get round as many people as I can.

Thank you everyone for all the kind and encouraging comments that my blog has received.

Mark

  1. And another bloke joins the WOYWW ranks! Be sure to share when you get done. The one frustration about WOYWW is you often see the beginnings or a project then lose track and never manage to see the outcome LOL! Is that Domestos I spy on your desk?? Ah, now I can see where you may be going with this.....

    :)

Happy WOYWW from Mary Anne (1)

  2. Hi Mark, Glad you like the box; I had fun doing it! Nice to see a busy productive desk though I won't ask what you plan on using the bleach for! Have fun today, and hopefully we'll catch up soon for some serious crafting!

  5. Hi Mark - thanks for your visit. Love your desk, things within easy reach are good :)

You asked ages ago about the Snippets Playground rules - basically very few. Each Sunday I set up a new Mr Linky and all you have to do is to make something using up scraps, snippets or whatever. I've used bits of ribbon, lace, paper, card plus it can just be one element of whatever you choose to make - no theme - and link into Mr Linky and have a link in you own blog posting to the playground. Then, the following Saturday I just do a roll call with brief comments about each entry and a link to it.

It's a all-gals band right now so you'd be spoilt rotten. We refer to it as the playground so there are some daft things going on, such as virtual swings, slides, pogo sticks - and one little rebel now wants to bring a go-kart in!

    Happy WOYWW! Di xx

  7. I thought I saw bleach on your desk...but what on earth are you about to do with it?
Your desk looks a real crafty place to sit and create...lots happening.

Thanks for popping over to my place earlier and also hitting my follower's button ~ I'm thrilled.

You're profile photo looks great but then I read that you're a landscape gardener...so no wonder ;D

    1. hi clair, the bleach is for taking the colour out of card so you can then go in and re colour, mixed results so far, it very much depends on what card/paper you use it seems, its also good for taking the colour back if you use sprays etc. I saw this at the Craft Barn being demoed by Helen Chilton. great technique

  9. Ah, you have answered the question about the bleach, I have used it before too to bleach out paper but not with such a big bottle on my desk! Your desk always looks busy and interesting. Have you finished that X-box yet? Happy WOYWW, Anne #18

  12. Loving your workspace. I like those storage units on the wall! Looks like you have been busy. If you only started crafting at Xmas you seem to have collected quite a bit of crafty stash :o) the x-box is a different idea..... definately a one of a kind there! :o) April#97

  13. Hi Mark, love your workspace and it looks well organised with everything to hand. Your texture tag is great too and you do seem to have a creative streak for a relatively new addition to the world of papercrafting.
    Thanks for the snoop...

  17. Hi Mark,

Your desk looks great!!! Unfortunately I'm usually at my dining room table. It still works, just can't leave a bunch of stuff out (although sometimes I do!).

Girls and horses. I remember the days. I used to hop a fence and go riding (not my horses). Bareback with no reins. Brave of me.

    Happy WOYWW
