So on the desk you can see two of the cards I have received so far and three envelopes that need posting with the atc's I made this week, I'm going global lol, one is off to the USA, One to OZ and One to Wales
I will do a proper post of all the ATC's once everyone has theirs, maybe next week. But for now I can share the Card I made for the swap and the two I have received so far.Above is the Atc I made for April at http://aprilscraftyescape.blogspot.co.uk/ I will go into some detail when I do a proper post of the ATC's.
In return received this beautiful atc with the butterflys.I love the vintage and distressed look and the detail with the button and string really ties it all together. thank you April
This atc was done by Anne at http://bollyanne.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/woyww-week-157.html what you can't see is how thick this is,I love the tim tag and the embossing folder used is one of my faves, its actually the same one I used in my atc.Thank you so much for both the cards, The swap has been a blast and roll on year 4.
Hi Mark, the ATCs you sent to me are absolutely wonderful and I love the one above that you have made, can't wait to see how you got that rusty look. Glad you liked your ATC and thank you for showing it too. Happy WOYWW, Anne #24

ReplyDeleteYou know what? I'm truly gutted I missed playing along last week but am thoroughly enjoying seeing everyone show the ATC's on their blogs. So many differing styles and techniques used.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to pop back when you do your post - Redanne has me curious with her mention of a rust technique.

DeleteWonderful atc's you have received so far. It has been lovely to see all the different ideas people use to get such a variety of looks on their atc's. It's like having your own technique folder.

What fab ATC’s. We really do have some very talented crafters out there, don’t we.
ReplyDeleteHave to say Mark, your desk is looking very busy. In fact there very little space left to actually craft in.

Apologies for being so late visiting Mark, but better late than never eh?
ReplyDeleteYour ATC's look amazing. I've been watching all the swaps with interest but didn't take part only because I didn't know what was involved.
