Well its that time of the week and I know it has been a been a while since I have made it over to blog hop with the rest of the WOYWW'ers but it's great to be back and I look forward to looking at as many blogs as I can.
For those of you who are asking what the Hell, follow the link to Julia's page and all will be revealed (ok its a nosey mid week blog hop).
Im going to combine this post with another atc I have made as I want to enter it into a challenge as well, you can see it on the desk, bigger pic coming up at the bottom of the page.
You can also see in the pic a wonderful stash of stuff i was sent from my blog friend Mel, The Yorkshire Fox she kindly sent me a very cool Xmas tag and some goodies to go with. I am looking forward to having a play with them. there is also another atc left over from me playing around with some gold leaf.
In the other zoomed out pic you can see my pin board where I keep all the goodies I have been sent so I have some good inspiration right infront of me, the board on the side is my semi useful bits board and has some old tags that I made but don't want to throw out.
Ok so here is the atc I made for the challenge over at Smudgy Antics they are having a 'Tic Tac Toe' theme where you have to pic three ingredients that are in a row, I have picked Paint, Distress and Hardware/Metal.
The back ground has been painted with Deco Art translucent paint, the little dude has been painted with Distress ink pads and my Hardware is the two Brads.'s
Stay tuned for even more Atc's over the next few weeks as I am working on several for a couple of swaps, (sorry guys, running slow) but catching up.
And as some of you may have seen yesterday I am now a proud member of the new DT over at Fun With ATC's so every couple of weeks we will be setting new challenges, this fortnight the theme is Fashion.
That's not all I am also gearing up for our first ATC swap over at Haunted Design House so if you want to let your dark side out on an atc and feel like taking part follow the link and put your name down. I would love to see as many of you as poss over there.
ok I have rambled enough and I shall let you get on with the hop. enjoy and happy crafting, Mark xx

ReplyDeletewhat a fab ATC for Smudgy Antics, great desk Please hop by my desk #87 Lauren x
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. Don't think we have been introduced before, but lovely to meet you and your fab blog. I display a few of the wonderful creations that are sent to me on my desk/mantelpiece - especially the larger 3D ones - the rest (mainly ATCs, Twinchies and Postcards - I do at least one swap for each every month) are in folders. It is lovely to sit down occasionally and look through them. Your ATC is great. I haven't painted with DI before - will give it a go. Not sure where I will find the time, but will go and look at your links to see if I can get an ATC made for them. Making a real effort to get involved in more challenges again (had a break for a while). Ali x #63
ReplyDeleteLove the little dude on the atc.

Hi Mark,
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your ATC! Especially his bright red belly button! Congrats on being on the DT. I don't know how some of you WOYWWers have time for so much creativity!
Thanks for visiting me already. I'm slowly getting around (will probably take me through the weekend).

Awesome ATC, Mark! I love the color scheme and the layers of paint! The alpha background stamping rocks! I really must get my hands on that translucent red, it's gorgeous. Thanks for playing with Smudgy Antics :)
ReplyDeleteIt is great to have a board to display others work that has been sent to you. I know that I enjoy mine Immensely and quite often smile at the pieces because they are plesant reminders.
ReplyDeleteThat ATC is brilliant, love it.
Thanks for visiting me and in answer to your question did it go 'poof up in smoke' yep it sure did. I actually, after getting rejected by the wholesaler that supplied the machine and all sorts of run around and jerked here and there, thought I would pull it apart, after all it was a dead paperweight, I wanted to find out why it went poof. I am a qualified electrical technician after all and well it didn't pass muster it was bad, you can read about it on a former post if you wish. I am so glad that Sizzix sent me a new one. Time will tell I have had nothing but bad reports from all sorts of people. I am open minded. I feel bad for Tim Holtz his name is on this machine and it is tarnishing his name. I sent him a message but he didn't respond either.
Anyway happy WOYWW

Completely fabulous colours on that ATC - love using the translucent paints (got for Timeworn) on other stuff! I'm missing from WOYWW for the second week in a row - feels weird, but just too complicated at the moment - all will become clear next week!
