So how's everyone doing? It is my turn again over
at the De Stempelwinkel Blog to share a make.
With the Melt Pot still out I decided to do Wax canvas, it turned out to be a kind of Vintage Fashion Curio type thing ;)
When I use the Melt pot more than any other type of medium the results are always a bit of a mystery and I find the direction of where I think the canvas will go will change several times.
All I knew was I wanted to use the Vintage Steampunk lady from De Stempelwinkel and the rest just sort of mysteriously happened.
Thanks for stopping by. xx
I would like to enter this into a couple of challenges.
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge are having a Mystery challenge.I always love the mystery of what will be created from using the melt pot.
Lej Designs are having an Alter it or Gift challenge. I have altered a Canvas that can be given as a gift ;)
Loves Rubber Stamps are having a shabby chic or Vintage challenge.
Love your canvas Mark, the dolls are beautifully aged and the black edging sets the whole piece off so well. Anne x
ReplyDeleteMark...I saw this on Facebook and left a comment but wanted to leave one on your blog as well. I love this piece! Those different stamped images are so pretty and I love your design using them. I also love the leaf behind that cool dressform and the two fractured dolls you've added to the bottom. I bet that wax covering really makes this piece look and feel amazing in person. Thanks for sharing your art with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. <3 Candy
