Morning all and thanks as always for stopping by.
Today I have a little share using one of Nathalie Kalbach's new foam stamp sets from Stampendous.
I have used the elephant set.
In the set you get a sturdy foam stamp, one side for stamping a silhouette the other has a patterned surface, you also get a cling rubber stamp that fits perfectly over the silhouette and to top it of there is also a stencil.
I have made a wall hanging using some off cuts of 3"x 1" timber and some left over tile baton.
The wood has been painted using Decoart Chalky Finish Paints, I started with a coat of Heritage followed by a coat of Rouge sanding between coats to get a nicely faded distressed look.
Using some Stazon Ink I stamped using the foam stamp on the patterned side top and bottom of the piece of wood.
In the middle I stamped using the cling mount rubber stamp, again using Stazon ink.
I have had this Hindu style stencil from Stencil girl a little while and have been waiting for the right project to use it. The stenciling was done with Decoarts Carbon Chalky Finish Paint.
Some Decorative stamping with Stampendous's Decorative Boarder Stamp.
The hands were also stenciled and are from The Crafters Workshop.
Using some panel pins the planks were pinned to the tile baton ready for hanning.
To finish everything was given a couple of coats of Decoart Media Satin Varnish.
